Hello, my name is Gabriel Korrigan and I was a webcartoonist during the big dotcom boom of 1998-2001. Everything was going fine for me and I was making a lot of money with my last webcomic which many of you might have read (I went under a different name then) but then one day the bottom dropped out of the Internet market. I had most of my money invested in mutual funds and daytrading and things like that, so I was pretty much fucked. I lost everything I owned including my house, my car, my computer, and from what they tell me, my mind. Ha ha, see that's a little joke.

Seriously, though. They tell me that I had some kind of "psychotic episode" which may or may not be true since I sort of blacked out for about a year and woke up in a padded room strapped to a bed. But I don't like to talk about that anymore.

But none of that is important now because thanks to my good friends and the good doctors at the NM Association of Mental Health I am once again fit and feeling my creative juices flowing! I've created Baby Stabber as an outlet for my creativity and I really think that you, the reader, will agree that it has a certain unique something. I hope you'll excuse the jagged art style, but the doctors say that I've got some kind of twitch that's the result of nerve damage from my psychotic episode. And also I can't afford color pencils or a Wacom tablet or  Photoshop or anything because, as I said, I don't really have much of a life savings anymore. Therefore, I am funding and providing this comic out of my own pockets and it's very therapeutic.

I hope you enjoy reading Baby Stabber as much as I enjoy creating it.
